Some missing people you will have heard of, but many more you won’t. For their families, life can feel like a desperate and unbearable struggle as they wait for days or even years. That’s why we are here for missing people and their families, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to provide free and confidential support by phone, text or email.
We are a UK based team of staff and volunteers who work around the clock to provide support and advice to anybody who has been affected by a disappearance, to lead research into the links between common issues and missing, and to campaign for change in law and service provision, speaking up for vulnerable people as well as families who have a missing loved one.
Through our free, confidential helpline, we offer round the clock emotional support and practical advice to anyone who is missing or away from home, and to the families struggling to cope with the disappearance of a loved one. We work closely with police forces to provide publicity appeals to help find people who are missing, to reach out to them, offer them support and options and help them to be safe, and can support vulnerable people in sending a message home to their family, or by coordinating confidential three-way calls with police or social services.
